For their 2023 integrated marketing campaign, GoDaddy aimed to position itself as a trusted partner with all the tools and support needed to start and grow a small business. The entrepreneurial journey looks different for everyone, but every entrepreneur's story shares similar "firsts" (like your first domain, website, or sale). GoDaddy's products are there to help you achieve every first along your journey — and empower you to achieve the next ones.
I contributed to the execution of GoDaddy's integrated marketing campaign by:
Conceptualizing social creative executions and collaborating with the Brand Social team to develop a content calendar
Partnering with the Brand Social Creative Director and Art Director to plan for and guide the production of social-first campaign content
Translating creative briefs and 10+ reasons to believe (RTBs) into short-form ad copy
Collaborating with Visual Designers to create sets of Google Display static banner and animated HMTL5 ads
Writing post copy for 20+ videos to drive organic social engagement across Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok and LinkedIn

Here’s a taste of our partner, @thefurloughcake. Once government workers, sisters Nikki Howard and Jaqi Wright are now the proud owners of an online cheesecake company. We’ll be serving up more content about “The Cheesecake Sisters” next month.
For small business owners, the only thing sweeter than a cheesecake (or a chookie) is being able to manage all your sales in one place. When you want a pick-me-up, there’s @thefurloughcake. When you want to offer in-store pickup, there’s GoDaddy.
Jaqi and Nikki of @thefurloughcake have a beautiful new website that puts their delicious cheesecakes front and center. We love how easy it is to shop and order in just a few clicks.
Few foods are more comforting than cheesecake – especially if it’s from @thefurloughcake. When sisters Nikki & Jaqi lost their paychecks during the 2018 government shutdown, they found comfort in selling cheesecake. Now we’re a key ingredient in their recipe for success.
Good morning, Maryland! Join Nikki & Jaqi for some coffee and conversation about @thefurloughcake.
Ah, the sweet taste of success – but have you ever stopped to wonder how many grams of hard work you’re eating? What goes on behind the scenes of a family business isn’t always as smooth as a bite of cheesecake (or as glorious as a chookie), yet Nikki & Jaqi make it look easy.
When starting a business, believing in your partner is key while believing in your product is essential. On this episode of Sound Advice, “The Cheesecake Sisters” Nikki & Jaqi open up about learning to have “faith in the cheesecake” and each other.
Tip your hat to our partner, @lindsayalbanese. Lindsay is a fashion stylist turned founder, entrepreneur, and inventor of TOPTOTE. We’re excited to start sharing more about Lindsay and her new venture, @thefileist.
You know her products, but you might not know her background. Formerly a celebrity fashion stylist for 17 years, @lindsayalbanese knows what it’s like to be a young woman starting and self-funding a business. From a stylist to @thefileist, her journey is a story we’re proud to help share.
If hitting your first $100,000 in sales isn’t enough to make you scream, we don’t know what is. With GoDaddy, it’s never been easier to process payments in style and keep more of what you make.
Get to know @lindsayALBANESE better as she talks about fashion, @thefileist and finding her “flow”.
Lindsay Albanese’s website for her online marketplace @thefileist is downright dreamy. The color palette, the photography, the merch. It’s got it all.
Lindsay Albanese is not only the founder of @thefilelist marketplace, she’s also the inventor of TOPTOTE, the patented hat holder. We love her thoughts on what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur.
Founded by @lindsayalbanese, @thefileist is a marketplace that spotlights and sells female-invented products. A celebrity fashion stylist turned inventor and entrepreneur, Lindsay has been making her own way and using GoDaddy to sell innovative travel accessories.
When you run a small business, there’s always another first. And GoDaddy has tools and support for every single one. We hope you’ll join us in celebrating a few of our partners’ “firsts” through the end of this year, while growing inspired to reach more of your own.
This was the first production for our partners @lindsayalbanese, @hinterlandskis and @thefurloughcake! We’ll be sharing their individual commercials with you here over the next couple months.
The entrepreneurial journey is one of many "firsts". What was one "first" your small business reached in 2022? Share a reel or image about a milestone moment, and then tag us in your post so we can celebrate your progress with you!
Here’s a first look at our partner, @hinterlandskis. Creighton Elinski started Hinterland with the idea that skis should be incredibly fun, extremely durable and beautiful works of art. We’ll be sharing more of Creighton’s entrepreneurial journey with you soon.
Both skiers and entrepreneurs need support for the long run. When Creighton Elinski was left to grow @hinterlandskis on his own, he sacrificed his health to fulfill an avalanche of orders – and his dreams. Now Creighton’s wellness and business operations are more sustainable than ever with the help of our tools and support.
Sorry, you can’t find fossils near Dinosaur, CO – though you can find someone carving the slopes with @hinterlandskis. And when you build your website with GoDaddy, our tools and support will help protect your online store from going extinct.
Whether growing a business or skiing downhill for the first time, going “all in” on your course is essential. On this episode of Sound Advice, Creighton Elinski shared about going all in on @hinterlandskis and the opportunity to work for himself.
It’s a beautiful day to join Creighton Elinski on a hike as he shares more about his passion for @hinterlandskis.
People will notice when your small business starts to peak, but they won’t always recognize the mountain of work that went on behind the scenes to build it. It all starts with an idea, and Creighton is a prime example of how hard work can scale an idea into an online brand.
